Hi, I'm Alex.

Since the moment I was born, I have been passionately curious. When I was two days old, I already had bruises on my elbows and knees for crawling my way out of the crib.

As I grew older (and a little wiser), this curiosity developed into a profound love for harmony and the magic of what Aristotle described as “the whole being greater than the sum of its parts”.

Over time, my search for harmony led me to myriad interests:
-
Social sciences (economics, accounting)
-
Games (chess, poker)
-
Sports (rugby, snowboarding, sailing, breakdance)
-
Music (classical, lounge)
-
Religion (Christianity, Buddhism)
-
... and reading
In my opinion, few activities in life are as varied and engaging as reading. Books not only open the door to virtually limitless knowledge, they are also a powerful enabler of change through self-reflection. As Ray Dalio put it in 'Principles': PAIN + REFLECTION = PROGRESS.

Please forgive the occasional typo, I do write mostly for my 'future self'. These syntheses are only my personal interpretation of the book's meaning – not a general summary.

I hope you find as much wisdom in these books as I have.
